Our story began in 2020 during the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim. Determined to honor our brothers in arms, our founder assembled a team to execute a live maritime tactical movement in full combat gear—body armor, rucksacks, weapons, fins, totaling 50–60 pounds—swimming across 3.5 miles of grueling open water. What followed was a grassroots movement to provide critical support and funds to those in need at the speed of war. This mission was more than a physical feat—it was a tribute. The pain we endure is temporary. Their sacrifice is forever.

Since that first mission, The Platoon Wave has remained dedicated to serving our nation’s Warriors and Gold Star Families. Our ‘Wave’ transfers donor’s energy—money, time, connections—in a targeted way. We selectively amplify the most effective programs in existing 501(c)(3)s and provide direct support when needed, ensuring no one falls in the cracks.
